December 6, Saint Nicholas

Nicholas was the bishop of Myra of Lycia (now part of Turkey). he died in the middle of the forth century and particularly since the tenth century, has been honored by the whole Church.

Father, hear our prayers for mercy,
and by the help of Saint Nicholas
keep us safe from all danger,
and guide us on the way of salvation.
