Cusp-a point of transition, as from one historical period to the next;
the borders between the twelve astrological signs.
You are considered to be "on the cusp" if you were born
within a day or two of the beginning or end of any sign.

Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Advent

God our Father,
you sent your Son
to free mankind from the power of death.
May we who celebrate the coming of Christ as manahare mor full in his divine life.

O King of all the nations, the only joy of every human heart;
O Keystone of the mighty arch of man:
Come and save the creature you fashioned from the dust.

Food For The Poor

Jefferson, 40 days old... 4 lbs.
Donate NowDear Friend of the Poor,
Jefferson’s first forty days of life have been a struggle for survival. He and countless other malnourished children urgently need your help.
This past year has been challenging for many. The harsh global economy has made it difficult for more families to feed their children, and Food For The Poor’s resources have been stretched to their limits. It’s heartwrenching to have to decide who receives help... and who doesn’t.
Here is just one e-mail I recently received begging for more food. As you consider your year-end giving, please be as generous as possible to feed starving children like Jefferson.
May God bless you abundantly in the new year.
