Blase, Bishop and Martyr

Saint Blase was the bishop of Sebaste in Armenia during the fourth century. His cult spread through out the entire Church in the Middle Ages.

Lord,
hear the prayers of your martyr Blase.
Give us the joy of your peace in this life 
and help us to gain the happiness that will never end.
